Week seven of “Unbreakable” tackled the land of Israel directly, building the case on three foundation stones before getting to maps or modern application. First: Psalm 24:1, “the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it”: all land, everywhere, belongs to God before it belongs to any nation or person. Second: Daniel 4:35, that God does as he pleases among the nations of the earth and answers to no one’s objection, however uncomfortable that is to sit with when his timing or methods don’t match what we’d ask for.

The third foundation stone was Genesis 12:7: God appearing to Abram and promising the land to his descendants, with Abram’s response being to build an altar of worship right there, not to draw up a deed. Brian’s logic followed directly from the first two stones: since all land belongs to God and he has the sovereign right to do as he pleases with what’s his, the land grant to Abram’s descendants isn’t a political claim to evaluate like any other real estate transaction; it’s framed in Scripture as God exercising ownership over something that was always his.

This teaching set up the following week’s conversation directly, summarized in the line the room kept coming back to: borders drawn without God are lines drawn against God.
