Happy Sukkot!

For those of you who are new here, we are not Jewish, but our hearts’ desire is to love and value the same things that our Father God’s heart loves and values. Back in 2020, Senior Pastor Jesus made clear to our leadership staff that the seven Jewish feasts are important to Him, so they should be important to us–this was the beginning of our journey to learn more about the feasts.

We believe the feasts are important for three primary reasons: the seven primary Jewish feasts allow us a chance to remember God’s goodness and provision, to recalibrate our hearts and lives to God’s rhythm and priorities, and to rehearse the parts of His great rescue plan that have not already been fulfilled.

One of our favorite feasts to cherish is Sukkot. We began our celebrations on Sunday, October 1st and will conclude with a church-wide feast and campout on Friday, October 6th. For those of you interested in following along, below is our Sukkot Guide that we are following as a church. Enjoy!
